Swiss-Sightseeing

Since I had a little bit of holiday last week I really enjoyed this time. So I used this time to do a little bit of Swiss-Sightseeing:
Thursday: I went to Geneva. At the United Nations in New York they asked us if we had been once at the United Nations in Geneva.... and we had to say no we haven't been there yet. So it was time to change that. The palais in Geneva looks as old as the one in New York but I was surprised how many organisations have there headquarter in Geneva. So I learned that Geneva is after New York the biggest office of UN in the world.
But as I said I have done Swiss-Sightseeing and that means I have seen more than just Geneva in the last few days. On Sunday I was on the top of the Rigi. Maybe you know that's the montain between the Lake of Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) and the Lake of Zug. It was beautiful there. Unfortunately a lot of tourist but I'm already used to that from Canada. The view from there to the lakes and the Mittelland was great. Afterwards we decided to walk from the top to Viznau (a village at the Lake of Lucerne). This walk wasn't really the best thing to do, the way was steep and it needed a lot of energy to walk down there. Now don't feel my legs anymore and I have a real muscel ache in my legs.
