The second time on a place is sometimes the better one....

When I was at the Long Beach for the first time more or less 2 months ago I wasn't really excited about the nature and all there. I thought something like... why are all these people so interested in the rain forest there. I wasn't really sure if I was at the right place but I had no idea what to do and went back to Vancouver. Good thing about that was, I knew I will come back with Sabina at the end of our trip through western Canada...
Now I went back to these places at the Westcoast of Vancouver Island and I'm so happy that I came back. With Sabina I saw now why all these people are so excited about this area. It's absolutely gorgeous there. The rainforest is so impressing: On the ground it looks like a forest in Africa (such a lot of plants) and then in the higher areas it looks like a forest in Switzerland with a lot of firs. So it's defently something you can't find in Switzerland.

View from the Radar Hill to the Long Beach...

One of these hugh trees in the rain forest near Tolfino at the Pacific Rim National Park

No this is not the Eastsea in Germany in a storm it is the Pacific ocean on a sunny day...

No this is not a place somewhere in the Caribbean it is the Long Beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island near Tolfino....

So it was such a good idea to come back because now I can really say I have seen one of the most beautiful places here in Canada... I'm not really sure what had happened when somebody would have shown me pictures from the Long Beach and the rain forest over there and I would have seen what I have missed.

This is my little survey about two wonderful days in the area of Tolfino. I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I did my trip to these places.
